An excellent place ranging from the great hall to art deco. Beautiful and historic.

I assumed Eltham was miles away but was only 6 minutes away on the train from home. Let’s say 20/30 minutes from central London. The palace and gardens were beautiful, the staff chatty and helpful and on a hot 27 degree day it wasn’t rammed so you could really relax and absorb every detail and the atmosphere. Romantic too so have recommended to a friend, whose partner has a birthday coming up.

I couldn't go as I was ill but my friends who went loved their visit.
