By foot: About 45 minutes walking from the center of Sintra
Bus: Scotturb Line 434 (Pena circuit) from Sintra Train Station
Train from Lisbon (Estação do Oriente, Estação do Rossio, or Estação de Entrecampos)
Please note that the venue is not reachable by car

Transfer services:

There is a paid transfer service available bringing guests from the park entrance to the palace. The service runs every 15 minutes and is wheelchair accessible
There's a free hop-on hop-off transfer service available between the Palace and the Chalet of the Countess of Edla. Simply show your entrance ticket and hop on!

Beware as booked and paid slot might not be the one given to you by tiqets. Ours was later than booked time causing incovenience and requiring schedule adjustment.

The palace is not worth the stress and crowds of people that are always around you, stopping randomly and taking pictures for half an hour. Just get a ticket to the park, you can still see the...

The palace is not worth the stress and crowds of people that are always around you, stopping randomly and taking pictures for half an hour. Just get a ticket to the park, you can still see the palace outside and courtyard at your leisure and enjoy the lakes and other corners.
