By foot: About 45 minutes walking from the center of Sintra
Bus: Scotturb Line 434 (Pena circuit) from Sintra Train Station
Train from Lisbon (Estação do Oriente, Estação do Rossio, or Estação de Entrecampos)
Please note that the venue is not reachable by car

Transfer services:

There is a paid transfer service available bringing guests from the park entrance to the palace. The service runs every 15 minutes and is wheelchair accessible
There's a free hop-on hop-off transfer service available between the Palace and the Chalet of the Countess of Edla. Simply show your entrance ticket and hop on!

Frustrating visit to Pena Palace. Despite needing to pre-book a timed entry, still queued for half an hour to enter the palace and then crawled through the interior rooms in a constant rammed...

Frustrating visit to Pena Palace. Despite needing to pre-book a timed entry, still queued for half an hour to enter the palace and then crawled through the interior rooms in a constant rammed queue which wholly ruined the experience. The outside of the castle, the views and the grounds are wonderful though.

The best part is wondering around the park. Plan your trip the whole day and try to walk along the path from Pena Palace to Castelo dos Mourus or vice versa for the best experience.
