See the real Scotland on this scenic tour of the Highlands where you'll experience forests, mountains, rivers, and glens. Tip back a dram of whisky at a local distillery before returning to Edinburgh for an evening at the world-famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

Drive past the impressive castle and the Wallace Monument into the heart of Scotland. The Highlands are an expanse of scenic beauty, once home to the infamous outlaw and folk hero Rob Roy MacGregor.

Learn about his fascinating life, then indulge your own inner rebel on a visit to a local whisky distillery! Scotland's national drink, also known as uisge beatha or the 'water of life', will warm you right up before a walk in the Perthshire forest.

Breathe in the fresh Scottish air and scent of pine needles on the Hermitage forest walk, and don't forget to look up! This is the woodland home of cute red squirrels and giant Douglas firs, some of the tallest trees in all of Britain.

See the thunderous Black Linn Falls crashing into the River Braan, snap some photos, and head back to Edinburgh for a wander round (or perhaps another warming dram).

Make your way to Edinburgh Castle for your final stop: the magnificent Edinburgh Tattoo, an annual military parade of Scottish drums, bagpipes and performances, held every August on the castle's esplanade.
