Excellent
Easy entrance with pre bought tickets. We were offered the lift to get to the top but optioned for the stairs. They are challenging, but we paced ourselves and made it. The view is wonderful from...
Easy entrance with pre bought tickets. We were offered the lift to get to the top but optioned for the stairs. They are challenging, but we paced ourselves and made it. The view is wonderful from the top of the Arc. Great photo opportunities. Took the lift down!

Terrible
For the second day I was unable to use my tickets. On Sunday, the Arc was closed due to the Futbol championship celebration. Today it was closed due to a strike. I now need a refund for my useless tickets!

The Arc de Triomphe is Napoleon's Neoclassical take on the ancient Roman triumphal arch. It's at the center of a square, with a dozen Parisian avenues radiating from it into the rest of the City of Light.

At the base of the arch, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is rekindled at 18:30 (6:30 pm) each evening.
